Mr. Abdi  Bare Duale – Chairman            Mr. Abdi Bare Duale is the Chairman of Kenya Leather Development Council.He is an experienced business executive with vast knowledge in starting up and running successful enterprises.He is a trained entrepreneur with an MBA (International Trade) from Edith Cowan University, Australia. He has many business interests and is currently the Managing Director of Medina Chemicals Limited and the Executive Chairman of Nomad Palace Hotel Limited.He previously served as a Board Member for Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Bureau of Standards and Nerix Pharma Limited.
Anne Rimbaine Lengerded – Member       Anne Rimbaine Lengerded was born in 1969. She is a MCIPS (Member Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies – Professional stage. She holds a Masters  Degree in Public Policy and Analysis (JKUAT) and Bachelors of Commerce (Finance Option) Kenyatta University. She was a Board Member at Pastoralist Development Network, Tele-post Sacco and various learning institutions. She has wide experience in procurement matters.
Mr. Henry Mutwiri – Member                  Mr. Henry Mutwiri was born in 1971. He has 22 years work experience in finance related office. He holds a Degree in BBA, MBA – Finance, Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management and Professional Diploma in Public Procurement. He is alternate to Permanent Secretary National Treasury.
Mr. Elias Kipkemei Busienei – Member    Mr. Elias Kipkemei Busienei was born in 1973. He holds MBA (Executive) Aviation option Moi University. He worked as an Air Traffic Controller Officer at Kenya Civil Aviation Authority from 1995 – 2001, Flight Operations Officer at Kenya Airways  from 2001 – 2003 and  from May 2003 – September 2012 he worked as Manager Flight Operations at Kenya Airways. He retired from Kenya Airways in September 2012 to pursue personal interests.
Ms. Elizabeth Kamau – Member                  Ms. Elizabeth Kamau is a Fashion and Interior designer with many years and wide experience in Kenya and East Africa. She is also a business woman.
Mr. Mark Stephenson – Member Mr. Mark Stephenson is the Director Sand Storm Company Kenya, which started out making luxury Safari tents in 2002. Today, it makes East Africa’s finest bags and accessories from canvas and leather.
Mr. Raphael Letimalo – Member Mr. Raphael Letimalo was born in 1957. He holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Peace study and Conflict Resolution (First Class Honors). He was a member of Parliament 2007 – 2017 and also District Officer 1988 – 2007.

Mr. Simon Atebe – Member Mr. Simon Atebe worked as an Assistant Director, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives between 2013 – 2018. In the year 2018 he became Deputy Director in the same Ministry. He is currently the acting Director, at the Directorate of Agro – Industries. He is alternate to Permanent Secretary, State Department for Industrialization

Noor is the Secretary to the Council’s board.He holds a PhD in Live stock Production Systems, Egerton University, MSc (Animal Production), University of Nairobi, BSc (Animal Health) Egerton University and a Certificate (Animal Health) Ahiti- Nyahururu. He has over 35 years of public service experience with Veterinary Department, Teaching, Research, and Administration. He is the Chief Executive Officer Kenya Leather Development Council.
