Training

The Centre was developed with training as one of its core activities and offers short term courses that take six (6) weeks in various aspects of both footwear and leather goods making. These training programs are aimed at:-

• Basic technology

• Skills upgrading

• Supervisory

The courses offered cover the whole process of manufacturing from designing to finishing. The training is carried out in four (4) courses that take six (6) weeks to complete. These courses are as follows:-

1. Footwear design and pattern making

2. Leather goods design and pattern making

3. Cutting and costing of material

4. Stitching/Closing.
